Lucille M. Snyder, 90, of Schnecksville, died Aug. 31, 2020, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. She was the wife of William C. Snyder for 68 years.

Born in Laurys Station, she was a daughter of the late Warren L. and Minerva S. (Shankweiler) Mantz.

She was a 1948 graduate and the valedictorian of her class at South Whitehall Township High School.

She was a bench hand at the former Western Electric/Lucent Technologies, Allentown, for 22 years before she retired.

She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a former member of its mixed bowling League.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Gregory D. and his wife Lynn of Macungie; a daughter, Debra Berresford of Whitehall; a brother, Ramon Mantz and his wife Elizabeth of Macungie; an aunt, Edith Foster of Laurys Station; two grandchildren, Jenna Snyder and Adam Berresford and his wife Amanda; and a great-grandson, Liam.
