LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

CHOSEN WORDS

The winter of my life is here,

The weather’s getting colder;

As the leaves begin to fall,

I continue growing older.

As the years come and go,

“Seems they only last a minute,

So live while you’re in it!”

You cannot do what you used to do,

You need to sit and rest.

It seems that every chore you have,

Is simply another test!

“I think back on the life I’ve lived,

And living still”,

It truly seems unreal;

But the older I get,

The more grateful I feel.

“The older I get, the more people I love.”

It’s the people you love, and the gifts from above,

That makes one wealthy and wise.

So live and love as much as you can

before you meet your demise.

I do not fight my aging!

There is no way to make it stop;

I just make the best of every day,

Until I use up my time on the clock.

Yesterday was here, and now it’s gone,

I will know when it’s time to go.

I believe God will let me know.

I believe he will give me time

To say good bye, to those I leave behind.

I believe he will take me in his arms,

Then lead me to heaven above;

Where I will live the rest of my life

With all of the people I’ve loved.

Live long, Live strong!

And don’t forget to love!
