Elaine Leone Francis, 94, of Bethlehem, died July 10, 2020, while in Manor Care, Bethlehem. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Neil and Leone Bernadine (Douglas) Francis.

She earned a bachelor of arts degree from Montclair Sate College. After moving to Bethlehem in 1983, she studied at Northampton Community College and Moravian Theological Seminary.

She was a member of Central Moravian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda L. and her husband William W. Sanderson III; three grandchildren, Lorain, William IV and Prentice (Jennilee) Sanderson; and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Bernadine; a sister, Angeique Leonora; and a brother, Aldolphus Lionel.
