Clarion University

Matthew Rothfuss, of Bethlehem, graduated with a MSLS information and library science degree in May from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Clemson University

Grant C. Hicks, of Bethlehem, graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in financial management. He was awarded his degree in May.

Coastal Carolina University

Madison Donatelli, a marine science major, and Bradley Givens, a hospitality, resort, and tourism management major, both of Bethlehem and of the spring Class of 2020, graduated from Coastal Carolina University on May 8.during the college’s first virtual commencement ceremony. The event was launched on the Coastal Carolina University YouTube channel.

Georgia Tech

Brandon Burnette, of Bethlehem, earned a bachelor of science in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta during the Spring 2020 semester during a virtual celebration held May 1. He will also be honored during in-person commencement ceremonies to be held on campus later this year.

McDaniel College

Bethlehem area residents Austin Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and Kellina Yarrish earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology from McDaniel College during a virtual celebration day May 23. A Class of 2020 in-person commencement ceremony is slated to take place on campus in spring 2021.

Shenandoah University

Natalie D’Angelo, of Bethlehem, recently graduated with a degree in Dance from Shenandoah University at the first-ever virtual University Commencement May 16.

Susquehanna University

Erin Wetmore, of Bethlehem, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in communications and German Studies. Devon Lindeman of Freemansburg and Kristina Palmisano of Bethlehem graduated with bachelor’s degrees in marketing and finance, respectively, from and Susquehanna University at the close of its 162nd academic year on May 13. The ceremony was broadcast to participants in a virtual format to ensure social distancing guidelines.

Wilkes University

Several Bethlehem area residents were virtually conferred with degrees by Wilkes University on May 16 and May 29. An in-person graduation ceremony is planned for Sept. 12, 2020, on the Wilkes campus. The graduates are, from Bethlehem: Robert Arnold, master of science degree in education; Danica Benson, doctor of pharmacy degree in pharmacy; Madison Ensley, bachelor of science degree in biology; Leticia Patino-Flores, bachelor’s degree in education and political science, Krystle Fulton, master of science in nursing degree in nursing; Arianna Grusso, doctor of pharmacy degree in pharmacy; Nicole Guard, master of science in nursing degree in nursing; and Morgan Young, bachelor of arts degree in elementary and early childhood education.

From Fountain Hill: Meghan Eller, bachelor of science degree in biology; and Eric Pecuch, master of science in nursing degree in nursing.

Patino-Flores was recognized by the Office of Student Development for her service as an e-Mentor to first-year students at the university and for service to student government for contributions to campus during the Wilkes University’s Extracurricular Awards ceremony.
