Police and the Lehigh County Coroner’s office report the death of 28-year-old Kayla R. Krotzer around 2:50 a.m. June 29.

According to state police, the Bethlehem resident was traveling eastbound in her Scion on Route 22 and attempted to exit the off ramp to Route 378 South. As she was attempting to negotiate a right curve in the roadway, she lost control and struck a grassy embankment located off the left side of the roadway.

Deputy Coroner Cassandra Schiffner ruled Krotzer died of blunt force trauma due to an accident.
