Catasauqua Garden Club has canceled its July 1 meeting.

Sue Kittick was scheduled to discuss cooking with herbs.

Catasauqua Borough Manager Steve Travers would like to commend the participants, Catasauqua High School students and community members on the borough’s recent Black Lives Matter march June 5.

Travers described the event as a safe environment. He said the borough and police department were prepared in case the march turned violent, as was seen in many towns across the country. This was not the case in Catasauqua.
