Shirley H. Sechler, 72, of Danielsville and formerly of Whitehall, died April 29, 2020, at home. She was the wife of Dale C. Sechler for 54 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Henry Sr. and Lurean (Wright) Heckman.
She attended Parkland High School.
She was a sewing machine operator for more than 30 years for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt. After retiring, she worked part-time for A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts, Whitehall.
She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Doris Stearns and her husband Kevin of Danielsville and Richard Sechler and his wife Tracey of South Whitehall; four grandchildren, Kaitlynn Tretter and her husband David of North Whitehall, Lindsey Stearns of Danielsville and Abigail and Caleigh Sechler of South Whitehall; four sisters, Patricia Sommer and her husband Stephen of Walnutport and Faith and Rosemarie Lackner and Lillie Davis, all of Whitehall; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Charmine Watson, Dorothea Klobosits and Linda Deeble; and three brothers, Robert Sr., Henry Jr. and infant Richard.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
