Sharon G. Thompson, 72, of Germansville, died May 9, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Bernard T. Thompson were married 42 years.

Born Nov. 12, 1947, in Washington, Warren County, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Daniel P. and Olive (Kries) Leh.

She was a certified medical transcriptionist for several local hospitals before becoming a homemaker.

A member of the Lutheran congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township, she served on several committees and volunteered for the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons David T. Thompson and his wife, Andrea, of Rochester, N.Y., Matthew D. Thompson and his wife, Shanell, of Allentown; brother Robert Leh and his wife, Diane, of Oxford, N.J.; sister Denyse Evans and her husband, Craig, of Pen Argyl; grandson Gabriel Patrick Thompson of Philadelphia; adopted grandchildren in New York; several nieces and nephews; and extended family.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. There will be no public calling hours.
