David Edward Fix, 44, of Allentown, died May 7, 2020, in his home.

Born on Aug. 23, 1975, in Parkersburg, W.Va., he was the son of Robert J. and Mary J. (Achenbach) Fix, with whom he resided.

He was a client at Access of the Lehigh Valley. He loved to travel and was an Eagle Scout for 34 years.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings Robert W. Fix of Buffalo, N.Y., Linda F. Vidler and her husband, Richard. of London, England, Raymond J. Fix and his wife, Stephanie. of Allentown, Kathleen L. Fix and her husband, Jeremy Schaller. of Blandon; nieces and nephews Mark, Scott, Emily and Samantha.

He was predeceased by his sister Linda Marie Fix, paternal grandparents, Robert A. and Hilda (Fischl) Fix, and maternal grandparents, Eugene E. and Edna “Teddy” (Bachman) Achenbach.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date due to the COVID-19 virus. There will be no public calling hours.

Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
