Charles E. Stout, Jr. 92, of Emmaus, died April 5, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Miriam E. (Owens) Stout. Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Charles E. Sr. and Beulah Stout.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.

He was employed as a structural engineer at Western Electric in Allentown for many years until retiring.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by his loving wife; son, David C.; daughter, Diane L. Victory; three grandchildren.

Services are private. Arrangements entrusted to the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
