Robbery arrests

The Bethlehem Police Department announces the arrest of two Bethlehem residents, 31-year-old Justin Hale of East Washington Avenue and 32-year-old Quentin Wimberly of Itaska Street, for an armed robbery that occurred in the early evening of March 29. The two men, each armed with a handgun, threatened visitors of a Wyandotte Street home and demanded money and jewelry.

The victims were able to provide an accurate description of the suspects and the vehicle they fled in. Bethlehem Police Patrol Officers located the suspects driving in the vehicle a short distance away. Both suspects were detained including the passenger who briefly fled on foot from the vehicle stop. Both handguns were recovered as well as evidence from the robbery.

Hale and Wimberly were both charged with robbery and related charges as well as various firearms violations. They were arraigned and committed to prison in lieu of bail.
