Thomas J. Stankevich, 79, of Lower Macungie Township, died March 1, 2020, at Rittenhouse Village Assisted Living, Allentown. He was the husband of Delia (deZorzi) Stankevich for the past 51 years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Sinkevich) Stankevich.

He was a detective with the New York City Police Department for more than 30 years.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Kathryn A. Quinn; sons, John T. and his wife, Lisa, Matthew J. and his wife, Santina; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia.

A Mass will be held noon March 4 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 415 S. Sixth, Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
