Raymond J. Legg Jr., 65, of Salisbury Township, died Feb. 25, 2020, surrounded by his loving wife and daughter. He was the husband of Doreen (Dries) Legg. They were married for 46 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Raymond and Manuela Legg.
He was a 1972 graduate of Emmaus High School and a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zion Hill.
He was an exceptional race car driver and drove quarter midgets, motocross, snowmobiles and micro sprints. During the span of his racing career, he had many accomplishments, most notably the 1971 National Champion in snowmobiling.
He was a huge Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved spending time reading his Bible and being with friends and family, especially the love of his life, Doreen.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Maria and her husband, Scott Walters, of Orefield; five grandchildren, Ava, Ella, Christian, Olivia and Lincoln; nephews, Ben and Adam; nieces, Becky, Lauren and Katie.

A viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. March 6 at the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. The service will be 10:30 a.m. March 7 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2966 Old Bethlehem Pike, Zion Hill, with a calling hour starting 10 a.m. in the church.
