Anthony Joseph Lokez, 87, of Lawrenceville, died March 1, 2020, at the Carleton Senior Care and Rehab in Wellsboro. He was the husband of Jean Marie Lokez. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of John and Anna (Kuzma) Lokez.

He was a member of Zion’s Lutheran Church and the American Legion in Tioga.

He enjoyed gardening and hunting.

He is survived by his wife; son, Bryan (Leslie Buck), of Allentown; daughters, Roxanne (Denis) Reed, of Allentown, Sylvia (Lance) Nelson, of Hernando, Miss.; stepson, James (Pamela) Derr, of Greenville, S.C.; stepdaughter, Joan Connolly; five grandsons; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Annamae Grossman and Marie Benner; a brother, Stanley.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 235, 18536 State Rte. 287, Tioga, Pa. 16946.

Friends and family are invited to call 6 to 7 p.m. March 5 at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. A funeral service will follow immediately 7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to call noon to 1 p.m. March 6 at Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway South, Old Zionsville. A funeral service will follow 1 p.m.
