City of Bethlehem Police detectives, assisted by the Department’s Emergency Response Team, successfully served a search warrant in the 500 block of Montclair Avenue Feb. 26, arresting 30-year-old Joesyan Miranda Nieves.

It was the culmination of a community tip-initiated investigation that began in 2017. During the service of the search warrant, police located significant quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and marijuana, along with close to $11,000 in cash and a loaded handgun. The narcotics seized are conservatively estimated to have a street value of over $10,000.

Miranda Nieves is being charged with multiple counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, other related narcotics charges and being a person ineligible to possess a firearm.
