Ruth M. Krieg, 87, of Lower Macungie Township, died Feb. 20, 2020, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. She was the wife of Richard “Louie” Krieg. They were married for 67 years. Born in East Orange, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel King.

She graduated from Allentown High School and was a member of the 1950 school aqua team. She was also a graduate of Allentown Business College.

She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

She retired from Lehigh Portland Cement Co. in 1988.

She is survived by her husband; son, Randall C.; sister, Kathryn and her husband, John Fiaenza; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lois Gressley; grandson, Randall C. II and son, Richard “Rick” Jr.

Arrangements were made by the Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home, Inc., Orefield.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
