A free information session on adoption and child foster care is being offered 6 p.m. Feb. 13 at Diakon Adoption and Foster Care, in Old Main on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, One S. Home Ave., Topton.

Anyone interested in attending the session is asked to call 1-888-582-2230 or 610-682-1504 to register.

Diakon Adoption and Foster Care staff will explain foster parenting as well as the processes involved in adopting a child or youth.

Attendees also will learn about children available for adoption as well as foster care, foster-to-adopt and medically fragile foster care.
