Russell “Skip” T. Olsen Jr., 69, of Allentown, died Jan. 29, 2020, at St. Luke’s Bethlehem campus. He was the husband of Kathryn L. (Kane) Olsen.

Born in Troy, N.Y., he was a son of the late Russell T. Sr. and Marion (Ewald) Olsen.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He was employed at Hannabery HVAC, Allentown, until his retirement in 2017.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Christopher Emers; a sister, Diane Farleigh and her husband John; two nieces, Erin Farleigh and her fiance David Ostrander and Erika Sandt and her husband Randy; a nephew, William Farleigh and his wife Christa; a sister-in-law, Karen Sweeney; a brother-in-law Michael Kane and his wife Anne-Marie; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services are private.
