Elizabeth “Bette” D. MacHose, 95, died Jan. 19, 2020, at Lehigh Center, Macungie.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Alma (Fatzinger) Deemer.

She was a Catasauqua High School graduate.

She worked in the trust department of First National Bank, Allentown.

She was a lifetime member of the former St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She was a president of both the Women’s Club of Catasauqua and the YMCA board.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey and his spouse Patricia Kerin; a daughter, Nancy and her husband Guy Fried; five grandchildren, Richard A. Shander, Scott M. Shander, Jason C. MacHose, Brian Schaffer and Philip Schaffer; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Stametz and her husband Richard.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean and Barbara.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., Jan. 30 at Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., Catasauqua.
