Dorothy L. Ross, 89, of Macungie, died Dec. 10, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson-Somerset Hospital, Somerville, N.J. Born in Newark, she had formerly resided in Clark, N.J., for many years and had resided in Macungie since 1992. She was the wife of Walter B. Ross for 67 years.

She was a manager of professionals division of L’Oreal of Paris, Clark, N.J. She retired after over 25 years with the company.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Allentown and was active in the senior club in Macungie where she was an avid bridge player and enjoyed being part of the walking club.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Linda O’Reilly, of Lebanon Township, N.J.; sons, Walter B. II, of Delaware Township, N.J., Dennis, of Lebanon Township, N.J. and Michael, of Montgomery Township, N.J.; brother, Calvin Smith, of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

A memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Feb. 1 in St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, N.J.
