William C. Miller Sr., 90, of Whitehall, died Jan. 9, 2020, at his daughter’s home. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Whitmoyer) Miller for 57 years.

Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Elmer and Dora (Gibbs) Miller.

He worked for Wise Foods for 40 years before he retired in 1991.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

He is survived by four children, Cynthia Lorson and her husband Gerald of Elizabethtown, Virginia Hess and her husband Ted of Whitehall, William Jr. and his wife Michele of Midlothian, Va., and Patricia Pitarra and her husband Larry of Hazelton; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Peg Horst; and a grandson, Matthew Hess.
