John J. Schneck Sr., 87, of Northampton, died Jan. 4, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Jane (Keppel) Schneck for 54 years.

Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Aurel and Catherine (Nederostek) Schneck.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was an inspector for Tarkett, Whitehall, for more than 40 years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, John Jr. and his wife Lucy, Joseph and his wife Julie and Jeffrey; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Jason and Jared; a sister, Doris Miller; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Janet Miller.
