Jeffrey H. Russ, 77, of Allentown and formerly of Phillipsburg, N.J., died Dec. 9, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of Janice (Ahart) Russ for 54 years.

Born in Bridgeton, N.J., he was a son of the late Erwin and Gladys (Miller) Russ.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He was a bartender and owned E. Goepp Street Saloon, Bethlehem, and Fossil’s Last Stand, Catasauqua.

He was a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, N.J.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Jennifer in South Carolina, Jackie of Allentown and Jessica of Whitehall; a brother, Leigh with his wife Maureen of Jamesburg, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey J.
