Cornelius “Connie” J. Manning, 88, of Whitehall, died Dec. 5, 2019. He was the husband of Carol F. (Blose) Manning for 54 years.

Born in New York City, he was a son of the late Timothy and Mary (Kenny) Manning.

He was in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean conflict.

He was a salesman for Metropolitan Marking Corporation until he retired.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Edward and his wife Jeanette; a daughter, Sharon Manning; two sisters, Sheila Seelke and her husband Kurt and Marie Cartwright; a brother, Patrick Manning; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by two siblings, Timothy and Eileen.
