Rowland “Rollie” J. Kratzer, 71, of Whitehall, died Nov. 17, 2019, at home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Stephen and Margaret J. (Hendricks) Kratzer Jr.

He was a 1966 graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School.

He was a teletype specialist in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.

He was first a clerk, and then in production, for Mack Trucks in Allentown and Macungie where he worked for 30 years until retiring.

He was a life member of the Oakmont Tennis Club, Allentown.

He is survived by his twin siblings, Robert S. and Roberta M. of Allentown; cousins; and extended family.
