Rose “Tootsie” M. Jany, 90, of Northampton, died Nov. 20, 2019, at ManorCare, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Louis “Loitch” F. Jany.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Albert P. and Rose (Meltsch) Deibert.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She was a member of the AARP, Northampton.

She is survived by two sons, Louis A. and his wife Donna of Whitehall and Ronald A. and his wife Kim of Coplay; a daughter, Donna and her husband Daniel Schmalzer of Bath; seven grandchildren, Jason, Melanie, Brandon, Laura, Lisa, Joshua and Derek; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Deibert and his wife Heidi of Cherryville.

She was predeceased by a brother, Albert.
