Pastorius Home Association each year recognizes seniors from local area high schools for their interest and achievements in the study of the German language.

This year’s honorees include Parkland High School student Mia Noelle Wanyo.

Each honoree was presented “The Pastorius Award for Excellence in German Studies,” letters of recognition, a subscription to German Life magazine and $50 college expense grants as outstanding 2018-19 school year German students.
