Margaret A. Gitski, 73, of Whitehall, died Oct. 31, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Joe Gitski for 49 years.

Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Hughes) Brezina.

She was a Central Catholic High School graduate.

She worked for J.C. Penny for many years before retiring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tracy Perl and her husband Kevin; a son, Jay and his wife Linda; two brothers, Paul and Michael; three sisters, Dolores Breitfeld, Suzanne Saylor and Theresa Schwenk; seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Dylan, Jocelyn, Trevor, Taylor and Brianna; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Yapsuga.
