Coplay Public Library is holding its book sale 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 15 and 16. Prices are low, especially in the sale room.

There are books in a variety of genres and age groups. A selection of toys will be also be available for purchase.

The fall basket raffle is still going on. The drawing will be 4 p.m. Nov. 16.

There are more than 60 baskets with a wide variety of items and themes.

You still have a chance to show your Penn State spirit while relaxing in a chair printed with the team logo. The raffle drawing is 4 p.m. Nov. 16.

You do not need to be present to win. All proceeds benefit the library.

For a special treat, the library will have a bag sale 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 18. The library will supply the bag.

Some specialty items will remain regular price.

As always, storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica is 11 a.m. Thursdays. Children will also learn to practice their social skills in an enjoyable, relaxed setting.

No preregistration is required.

Our Scrabble experts are looking for new challengers to keep their skills fresh. Game night is 5-7 p.m. Mondays.

If you’re not into Scrabble, bring your own games and friends, or just come and observe.

The library has games available for different ages.

The library will close 5 p.m. Nov. 27 and will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28.

It will be open for normal hours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Nov. 29.

We always have fiction and nonfiction books, CDs, DVDs and seasonal items for sale in between the big book sales. Prices are the same as the big sales.

Look for the sale shelves at the front of the circulation desk. Ask if you have trouble locating them.

We can’t accept Reader’s Digest condensed books, encyclopedias, textbooks or VHS tapes. We also do not accept any items that have smoke, water or other damage or are musty, ripped or torn.
