Walter R. Pumm, 83, of Allentown, died Oct. 25, 2019, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

He and his wife, Mabel “Mae” (Santee) Pumm, were married 60 years in July.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Walter L. and Grace (Olewine) Pumm.

An assembly line worker for Mack Trucks for 15 years, he was a member of Hogan Social Club, Allentown.

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Walter R. Jr. of Allentown; daughters Susan Scott of North Dakota and Pamela Pumm-Wotta at home; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

His service will be private.
