Nicholas Oranczak, 88, formerly of Catasauqua, died Oct. 10, 2019, at home in Lehigh Township. He was the husband of Lois (Gillespie) Oranczak for 65 years.

Born in Fullerton, he was a son of the late Wasyl and Anastasia (Kubryn) Oranczak.

He was a 1949 Northampton High School graduate and furthered his education at the Williamsport Technical Institute and the Center for Degree Studies.

He was a design drafter with GATX, later Fuller Company, currently FLSmidth, for 45 years.

He was a member of Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Rita and her husband Mike Millhouse, Holly and her husband Ben Ferenchak and LeeAnn and her husband Jeff Jacksits, with whom he resided; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Cesanek, Michael Millhouse, Kelly Hoffman, Daniel Millhouse, Nicholas Ferenchak, Benjamin Ferenchak and Bradley Jacksits; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harry Oranczak.

He was predeceased by an infant son, Wayne Steven Oranczak; a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Jacksits; five sisters; and four brothers.

Services will be private.
