The Emmaus cross country teams both went 3-0 at an East Penn Conference multi-team meet last week.

The Hornet girls team beat Pocono Mountain East (19-42), Pocono Mountain West (15-50) and Pleasant Valley (18-43). The Emmaus boys team beat PM East (20-39), PM West (15-45) and Pleasant Valley (20-43).

Keerstin Augustin led the undefeated Emmaus girls team with a second-place overall finish, followed by teammates Isabella Lees (third), Hailey Reinhard (fifth), Clara Kennedy (seventh) and Madison Toretta (eighth) to round out the team scoring.

The Emmaus boys team improved to 4-2 with the wins. The Hornet boys were led by Geoffrey Kleinberg, who finished fourth overall, followed by teammates Ryan Todd (fifth), Mark Magee (sixth). Cameron Carter (eighth) and Keshav Shankar (ninth) to round out the team scoring for Emmaus.
