William E. Eiler, 79, of Macungie, died Sept. 19, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Hanlon) Eiler. Born in Frederick, Md., he was the youngest son of eight children to the late Newton Eiler and Alice Stoner.

He graduated from Thurmont High School, in Thurmont, Md. in 1958.

He later went on to serve in the United States Air Force.

He worked at Mack Trucks , retiring in 1994.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Susan (Kenneth Johnson), of Center Valley; son, Michael, of Hellertown.
