There will be an apple festival from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on October 19 at the Lutz-Franklin Schoolhouse, 4216 Countryside Lane, Hellertown, 18055.

Admission is free for all activities except pony rides (cost). There will be a story hour, crafts, schoolhouse tours, meet / greet Johnny Appleseed, face painting, cakewalks. Live music by Rhythm Road and Rickman Blues Band. Refreshments (cost) include apple baked goods, hot dogs and apple cider.
