A Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper responded to Interstate 78 West, Salisbury Township, to assist EMS with a male who was suspected to have overdosed 11:54 p.m. Aug. 11.

The male and one of the passengers of the vehicle, a 2007 Jeep, were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, to be evaluated.

According to police, small amounts of heroin, methamphetamine and related paraphernalia were seized on scene.
