Community joins first responders for National Night Out

South Whitehall Township residents were treated to the police department’s annual National Night Out at Covered Bridge Park on Aug. 6.

National Night Out is designed to improve the relationship between residents and law enforcement, and enhance a sense of community.

Attending this year’s event were South Whitehall police, representatives from Emergency Management, Cetronia Ambulance Corps, Woodlawn and Tri-Clover fire departments and local safety and home security vendors.

Food was provided by the township and served by employees and volunteers who serve the community.
