Rose M. Fatzinger, 96, of Alburtis, died Aug. 4, 2019, at Luther Crest. She was the wife of the late Alden A. Fatzinger. Born in Austria, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Golles) Lukitsch.

She worked for Rodale Shirt Factory before retiring.

She was a longtime member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield and the Women’s Guild.

She is survived by sons, Joseph A.; Alden A. III and his wife, Ruth; Carl A. and his wife, Cherie; daughters, Helen M. and her husband, Jim Christman; Rosemary A. and her husband, John Hoch Jr.; Susan L. and her husband, Terry Debus; sisters, Mary Smith and Anna Recker; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, 18069.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Aug. 8 in the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. Visitation will begin 9 a.m.
