Frances M. Jaggers, 79, of Slatington, died July 27, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Edward Jaggers.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late George and Priscilla (Brungard) Schlacter.

She was formerly a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, North Catasauqua.

She was a hairdresser at the former Hess’s Department Store, Allentown.

A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she will be missed by many.

Her survivors include a daughter Michele Hagenbuch; grandchildren Ashley Sokolowski and her husband, Lee, and Edward Hagenbuch; brothers Anthony, George, Larry and Joseph Schlacter; sisters Victoria Hillman, Cathy Pustai and Priscilla Shemanski.

She was predeceased by her brother James.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 2 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc. 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.

There will be a calling period 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
