The 43 annual Drum Corps International Eastern Classic Drum & Bugle Corps Championship will be held beginning at 6:30 p.m. on August 2 and 3 at Andre Reed Field, J. Birney Crum Stadium, 2027 Linden St., Allentown. The event is the final competition of the 100 event national tour prior to the 2019 World Championship in Indianapolis. The seeding for the world championships will be determined in part by the scores earned at the Allentown performances.

Each performing group consists of 150 brass, percussion and color guard members under the age of 22 who represent up to 20 states and several countries. Allentown’s 10 time DCI World Champions, the Cadets, will be among the competitors.
