By the time the celebration of the Lynnport Fire Company’s 75th anniversary is over, President Darryl Schafer said he expects the building to look like new.
Schafer said it was the first-ever bingo held by the fire company. The money will go toward renovations such as a new floor, roof, a stove, and office.
“It has been three decades since improvements were made and we are doing this to pay for them,” said Schafer, adding the work is being done because people are investing in them.
