MKbC Blood donations needed

The Miller-Keystone Blood Center has issued an urgent appeal for donors of all blood types. More than 450 donors are needed every day regionally. Donations traditionally decrease during the summer due to vacations and increased travel, combined with accidents and seasonal illnesses.

Individual donors must be 16 years old (parental consent required) or older, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be feeling healthy and provide valid identification.. They must not have donated in the past eight weeks.
