Liberty BELL MUSEUM July Fourth program set for 1:30 p.m.

The Liberty Bell Museum will hold the annual Independence Day program at 1:30 p.m. on July 4 in the museum level of at Zion U.C.C. “Liberty Bell” Church, 622 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. At 2 p.m., there will be a national bell ringing ceremony, with Pip the Mouse leading the ringing of the Liberty Bell replica.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, there will be themed children’s coloring pages and a rocket craft project to take home. State Rep. Mike Schlossberg will read the book “Man on the Moon.” Museum tour hours are noon to 1:30 p.m. and, following the program, until 4 p.m.
