Joyce D. (Roth) Kuntz, 77, of Slatington, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in her home.

She and her husband Warren S. Kuntz were married 56 years on June 16.

Born Aug. 23, 1941, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of the late Claude W. and Florence R. (Zellner) Roth.

She owned and operated Joyce’s Beauty Salon in her home for 40 years before retiring in 2010.

Before that, she was a key punch operator at the former Keystone Lamp Factory, Slatington.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, and the former Washington Grange 1763.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sherri L. Nelson and her husband, Matthew, of Kings Mountain, N.C.; son Douglass B. and his wife, Angela, of Slatington; and grandchildren Dylan B. and Cameron B. Kuntz, and Rosalynn and Allison J. Nelson.
