Harvey John Thomas, 79, of Schnecksville, died May 30, 2019.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harvey Franklin and Elsie May (Trump) Thomas.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War era.

He was a truck driver for Makovsky Brothers Inc., Whitehall, and Maislin Transport, Allentown, for many years before retiring in 2002.

He was an active member of Copeechan Fish and Game Club, Schnecksville, and North End Gun Club, New Tripoli.

He is survived by two daughters, Johnna E. Henke of Kutztown and Lonna L. and her husband Tyrone A. Deschler of Bethlehem; a sister, Shirley F. Carl of Trexlertown; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place 5-8 p.m. June 17 at Copeechan Fish and Game Club, 5649 Brook St., Schnecksville.
