We Thirst (Christian Reflections on Addiction), a free educational series on the topic of addiction from a Christian perspective, will be filmed live for DVD from 7 to 9 p.m. June 10 to 14 at the Saint Francis Center for Renewal. The sessions of reflection, designed to educate, strengthen, and inspire faith, hope, love, mercy and community action, explore aspects of the biopsychosocial-spiritual model of addiction.

The program is approved for continuing education hours for chaplains, counselors, and Pennsylvania social workers. The presenter is Pennsylvania Board Certified Recovery Specialist Nina Marie Corona, M.A., C.R.S., author and facilitator of the program and the founder and executive director of AFIRE (Active Faith Implementing Relief in the Epidemic).
