Jean Ramey Prevatte, 75, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., previously from Fogelsville, died on April 23, 2019.

Born July 14, 1943, in East Orange, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Daisy Richardson and Edwin Ramey.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Prevatte, of Mount Pleasant; her children Susan Fong of Charlotte, N.C., and Chad Prevatte of Arvada, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Leigh Anne Prevatte.

A graveside celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. June 8 at Fogelsville Union Cemetery, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville.
