Woodrow “Woody” W. Snyder Jr., 75, of Northampton, died May 6, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Valerie J. (Adams) Snyder for 38 years.

Born in Fullerton, he was a son of the late Woodrow W. Sr. and Grace M. (Grischott) Snyder.

He was a millwright for Essroc Company, formerly Coplay Cement Company, for 25 years before he retired in 2006.

He was a woodworker.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian T. of Whitehall; a daughter, Cheryl Barry of Allentown; two sisters, Linda Snyder with companion Doc and Sandra of Northampton; two brothers, Randy and his companion Carol of Northampton and Larry and his wife Carolyn of Northampton; a sister-in-law, Gloria Snyder of Florida; nieces; nephews; a mother-in-law, Elsie Adams of Coplay; and two sisters-in-law, Holly Reenock of Whitehall and Tonia Adams of Schnecksville.

He was predeceased by two siblings, Donald and Kay Snyder; and a father-in-law, Harold Adams.
