Julia Shara, 92, of Whitehall, died May 7, 2019, at Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale. She was the wife of the late Bernard J. Shara.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Fedor and Tanka (Salasky) Pristash.

She was a sewing machine operator at Cross Country Clothes for 25 years until she retired in 1988.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie and her husband Brian Sarris; a son, Mark; three grandchildren; and three brothers, Peter, Paul and his wife Ann and Stephen and his wife Joan.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Mary McGuire, Margaret Radio and Helen and Anne Pristash; and three brothers, Michael, Andrew and John.
