George “Tech” C. Passaro Sr., 76, of Laurys Station, died May 5, 2019, in his home. He was the husband of Judith D. (Royer) Passaro for 40 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Henry and Marion (Wentz) Passaro.
He was a 1960 graduate of Dieruff High School and attended Georgia Tech.
He was a specialist, fifth class technician in the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a credit analyst for Praxair Corporation, Allentown, formerly GTS Welco Company, for 36 years until he retired in 2016. He worked previously for Bonney Forge, Allentown.
He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, George C. Jr. of Allentown; two daughters, Corrina M. and her husband Christopher Lillis of Easton and Velecia L. and her husband Chad Tully of Northampton; a sister, Evelyn Kloiber of Allentown; two grandchildren, Heather and Gemma; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Mark, Gordon, Joseph and John; and two sisters, Theresa Passaro and Pauline Lombardo.
