To the Editor:

No longer will I sit back and believe all is well

I always assumed the South Whitehall Township government had my best interest in mind, and I would leave the decisions to those who were elected by my vote.

I attended the meetings regarding Ridge Farms development and I had an “educational awakening” as to how things really work.

Now I examine candidates for the highest office in the township with great interest, and scrutinize their platforms to see if they align with my desires for our community.

No longer do I sit on the sidelines and hope for the best. I have become involved and want my voice heard.

That is why I will vote in the May 21 primary, and select the candidates for township commissioner in positions 1, 2 and 3 on the Republican ballot: Diane Kelly, Mike Wolk and Tom Utsch.
